These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Sancti Wellness Ltd's Website, located at www.sancti.co.uk/.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions.

RETREAT TERMS:

The Retreat is hosted by Sancti Wellness Ltd.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that because Sancti Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations. 

1. Hold deposits are non-refundable
2. Hold deposits (minus the £100 re-listing fee), are transferrable to another attendee found and assigned by original attendee.
3. If you for some reason can no longer make the dates, we can offer you to transfer your retreat dates to the next dates free of charge.
4. Cancellation requests submitted within 30 days of booking may be refunded up to 50% of total amount (less deposit). For bookings that are cancelled, any refunds are at the discretion of Sancti and you will need to speak with us directly.
5. Any refunds allowed will incur a 3% processing fee.

No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please do consider purchasing travel insurance (see below) and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. It is our priority to create an incredible experience and cancellations limit our ability to do this for the whole group.
Exceptions cannot be made for any reason including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel retreats, in which case all money paid to Sancti will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to the retreat start date. Sancti cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes itineraries or retreat cancellations. 

 

*COVID-19 Pandemic Good Faith Policy: if pandemic conditions compromise the holding of the retreat, your ticket becomes transferrable to the new retreat dates which will be given to you as soon as possible. Should the retreat fail to be rescheduled, a full refund (minus bank transfer charges) will be issued.

DISCLAIMER
Sancti and all persons involved in retreats (herein after referred to as "AGENTS") act only in capacity as AGENTS for the participant in all matters connected with travel, sight-seeing journeys and transportation, and as AGENTS hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. AGENTS will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the participant's belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the journeys, and are subject to currency changes. AGENTS shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or journey participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of AGENTS for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with this journey. This agreement supersedes all previous oral or written communications, representations, or agreements between the parties. Participants assume the risk involved when participating in yoga, foreign travel, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating in the retreat. Participants agree that any and all disputes between Participants and Sancti shall be governed by UK law. Participants agree to mediate any and all disputes prior to the institution of any litigation. In regard to the stay during the retreat, AGENTS will provide safe, careful instruction and safe premises, but ask that each participant to take personal responsibility for their own self-care and (in the unlikely case) for any injuries incurred during retreat. Modifications are given to students with specific needs. If participants are unsure of their physical ability due to previous injuries, they should seek the advise of a healthcare practitioner beforehand.

By participating in a retreat, guests acknowledge and agree to images and photos of their being and likeness being taken by Sancti and other participants and that such images may be shared at will online and publicly.

 

ONLINE DISCLAIMER ADDENDUM:

By participating in any online program of Sancti, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release Sancti from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Sancti's negligence. Please consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program.

By choosing to use the online yoga or movement classes found on this Site, you agree to the following:

• Yoga and movement is an individual experience. You will progress at your own pace, and if you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, adjust the posture, and/or stop and rest when needed.

• You understand there is an inherent risk associated with any exercise program including your voluntary participation in yoga and movement that may result in injury. You understand and are aware that the components of yoga and moment are potentially hazardous activities and may cause injury.

• You acknowledge that you have either 1.) had a physical examination and/or have been given permission from your physician to participate in a yoga or movement program or 2.) that you have decided to participate in a yoga or movement program voluntarily and without the approval of your physician and do hereby assume all responsibility for your participation in the online yoga and movement videos or any other yoga or movement activity associated with Sancti.

• You, your heirs, and legal representatives, do hereby forever waive and release Sancti, its members, teachers, agents and employees from any and all liability and responsibility from injury, accident, illness, legal and medical fees sustained now or in the future resulting from your participation in any yoga videos or activities.

• You understand that Sancti is not a licensed medical care provider and represents that it has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition. 

 

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

You can check-in from 16:00 (CET) on your arrival date. For early arrivals please inform us of your arrival time and we can arrange for someone to meet you so that you can settle in. Although there will be no access to the venue until 16.00 (CET).

 

Please kindly confirm your expected arrival time at least 72 hours in advance.

 

KINDNESS POLICY

Please treat all instructors and other guests with kindness and respect throughout the retreat. There will be a zero tolerance for verbal or physical abuse.

No Sexism, No Racism, No Ageism, No Homophobia, No Fatphobia, No Transphobia, No Hatefulness. Hate in any form throughout the retreat may result in you being asked to leave the retreat with no refund applicable.

 

NON-SMOKING

The Retreat is non-smoking. Smoking outside is permitted but butts and matches should not be discarded or extinguished on the ground of the surrounding terraces, in the garden, plants, or dirt. It poses a fire risk and is unsightly.

 

NO DRUGS

Zero tolerance will be taken towards drugs and substance mis-use and may result in you being asked to leave the retreat with no refund applicable.

 

WI-FI

Provided upon arrival.

 

LINEN/TOWELS

One set of bed linen and towels are provided for each guest. Bath towels (white), linen, bed coverings, pillows, and home textiles should not be used outside the house. The pool towels (bright orange) are for exclusive use at the pool and are not intended for beach use. Please be careful of wet coloured towels permanently staining other textiles or surfaces, or of using self-tanning lotions that permanently stain towels. Towels should not be used as mats as they become permanently ground with dirt. Hanging them over the door or window frames also leads to permanent stains.

 

FOOD

Enjoy lots of delicious food prepared by our personal chef, included in the price of your retreat. Please state your dietary requirements, all diet requirements and preferences will be accommodated for, given that you notify us as soon as possible prior to the retreat.

 

SECURITY

Our retreat locations are known for as safe environments, however opportunistic theft is an issue. One should be vigilant with personal belongings and luggage when waiting at airport baggage claim, and when loading or unloading luggage from your car or taxi. There have been reports of luggage left in the car or in front of a house being stolen while the newly arrived guests took a few minutes for a quick tour of their property.

Safes are provided for storing valuables, the venue is equipped with an alarm system, and we advise to lock the windows and garden door of any room when it is left unattended. Please take advantage of the measures provided to keep your valuables safe. Storage of your personal items is at the guest’s own risk.

 

POOL

As with all bodies of water, please exercise caution in the pool and around the pool area and deck. Use of the pool and deck is at the guest’s own risk.

 

KEYS

One key will be provided for each room. The cost of replacement of a lost key is £85.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is advisable to take out travel insurance in the event that you are obliged to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Without limitation, Sancti Wellness Ltd are not responsible or liable for any losses* caused by, but not limited to acts of nature, war, threat of war, closure of airports, government-mandated travel bans or restrictions, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents or any other events beyond our control.

*This means any cancellation-associated losses like airfare, taxi rides, the plant-sitter you already organised to take of your bonsai while away etc.

 

DEPARTURE INFORMATION

Check-out by 12:00 on your final day.

All guests must have vacated the property by this time. Unfortunately we are unable store luggage or to accommodate guests waiting around the pool or grounds.
